Peter Knippel Nursery Inc. Plant Guarantee

To help ensure your gardening success, Peter Knippel Nursery Inc. offers the following one-time store credit guarantee on eligible plants.

What is Covered

Trees, Shrubs, Evergreens, & Vines: Guaranteed for one full year from the date of purchase if purchased at regular retail price.

Roses: Guaranteed for the duration of their first growing season (until September 30th of the purchase year).

Sale Items: Plants purchased on sale are guaranteed up to the sale price only.

Note: All guaranteed plants must be planted directly in the ground. Under no circumstances does this guarantee apply to plants kept in above-ground planters.

What is NOT Covered

The guarantee does not apply to:

Annuals, tropicals, houseplants, perennials, bulbs, or seeds.

Items marked as BORDERLINE HARDY or "Final Sale."

Plants purchased during our Fall Clearance Sale (at 50% off or more).

Customer plants that have been transplanted after initial planting.

Roses over the winter months.

Losses due to vandalism, theft, mechanical/chemical injury, animal or pest damage, neglect, improper care, or severe weather conditions.

Plants purchased using a previous guarantee store credit (replacements are not guaranteed).

Customer Responsibility

To qualify for a guarantee claim, the purchaser agrees to provide proper planting, maintenance, watering, and winter protection.

How to Make a Claim

Please do not remove the plant from the ground or bring it back to the garden centre. Instead, follow these steps:

  1. Take Photos: Take clear pictures of the full plant in its environment, as well as close-ups of the problem areas.

  2. Email Us: Send the pictures to info@knippelgardencentre.com.

  3. Include Details: You must include your original purchase invoice number and your phone number.

If a replacement is deemed necessary, a one time store credit for the original purchase amount (or sale price, if applicable) will be issued. This credit represents the final fulfillment of our guarantee; the replacement plants themselves carry no further warranty. Cash refunds will not be provided for failed plant material. In no case shall Peter Knippel Nursery Inc. be liable for more than the original purchase price.
