Latin Name: Lamium maculatum 'Purple Dragon'
Description: Commonly known as Spotted Dead Nettle, this creeping perennial features carpeted foliage of heart-shaped silver/green leaves edged in emerald green. Clusters of hooded rich magenta lowers open in terminal clumps in late spring and continue periodically into the fall. With a long bloom period, attractive foliage, and larger flowers than many other cultivars, this variety makes an excellent choice for groundcover in semi-shaded areas.
