SANSEVIERIA LAURENTII

$149.99

Latin Name: Sansevieria trifasciata 'Laurentii'

Description: Also known as the snake-plant, this erect succulent houseplant features thick, and long, sharply-pointed, deep green leaves, with light grey-green horizontal stripes and broad creamy-bright yellow edges. The leaves rise high from a thick rhizome beneath the ground. If your snake plant is kept in perfect conditions, flowers and fruit may appear, although it is rare on indoor plants. It can tolerate a wide range of conditions, and helps to remove toxins from the air around it. Toxic to cats and dogs.

Watering: The most common mistake made with these plants is overwatering. You won't need to water it more than once every 10 days (at most) during the growing season. During the winter months or if the plant is in low light, it can need watering once a month.

Growth Rate: Slow
Shape: Upright
Sun or Shade: Low-light to bright, indirect light.
Difficulty level: Very Easy
