Latin Name: Ginkgo biloba 'Menhir'
Description: The perfect Ginkgo for tight spaces! Considered to be 'living fossils', Ginkgos are part of an ancient group of plant species that are believed to have first appeared over 150 million years ago. This dwarf, columnar variety features the distinctive, unique, two-lobed fan-shaped leaves of the Ginkgo family, which are somewhat leathery with vertical venation. The leaves turn a magnificently vibrant golden shade in the fall, remaining for weeks before falling to the ground. Has a more irregular and delicate branch structure than other Ginkgo's. Makes a lovely small accent tree. This cultivar is non-fruiting.
