POTHOS PEARL AND JADE
Latin Name: Epipremnun aureum 'Pearls and Jade'
Description: This classic houseplant favourite has stunning variegation, is a prolific grower, and is incredibly easy to care for! Originally mutated from the Marble Queen pothos, Pearls and Jade sports waxy, green leaves adorned with splotchy patches of white, cream, and pale green, creating a striking visual display. The leaves are oval to heart shaped, and grow on vines, which can either be trained to climb up a trellis, or cascade downwards. Easily propagated; just take a cutting, stick it in a glass of clean water, and wait several weeks. Grow on a moss pole for fuller, more established plants. May demonstrate small fenestrations when mature.
As with most tropical plants, Pothos are toxic and should be kept away from pets and children. Apply houseplant/tropical plant fertilizer once a month during the active growing months.
Watering: Allow the soil to dry out almost fully between waterings. Always err on the side of caution and wait if you are unsure whether or not to water your plant.
Growth Rate: Vigorous; up to several feet a year under the right conditions.
Shape: Trailing, Climbing
Sun or Shade: Bright to filtered indirect light; will tolerate less light than many other houseplants
Difficulty level: Very Easy
