Description: Named after it's beautiful, albeit rare, flower, the White bird of paradise is a houseplant classic. Similar to the banana plants, these houseplants benefit from a light misting when their leaves are unfurling.
Watering: birds of Paradise thrive in dryer, well draining soil. Soak thoroughly until excess water runs through the bottom of the pot. Only water once the top 3" of soil has dried out, or the leaves start to wilt. Leaves dropping can be a sign of under and over watering.
