Latin Name: Goeppertia roseopicta ‘Dottie’


Description: Bold and beautiful, the 'Dottie' Calathea features dramatic, dark green foliage complimented with bright hot-pink/purple markings and deep burgundy undersides. The leaves themselves are quite large, wavy, and emerge loosely raveled, and slowly unfurl to reveal their dramatic tones. Prefers well-draining soil and indirect low-light conditions.

Watering: Calathea species are known to be picky with their water. Thriving in well draining soil, be sure to let tap water sit for at least 24 hours, or use distilled water when thoroughly soaking plant roots. 

Growth Rate: Medium-fast in ideal conditions
Shape: Upright, self mounding
