$12.99

Latin Name: Ficus benghalensis

Description: A close relative f the Fiddle Leaf Fig, this plant is the national plant of India, also known as a Banyan Tree. Easier to care for than a Fiddle Leaf Fig, and has a smaller growth habit and appearance. It can be distinguished from the fiddle leaf by its smaller, fuzzy leaves and smooth, cream-coloured trunk. The leaves are gorgeous and leathery, getting quite large and sporting prominent creamy veins throughout. A lovely accent piece for larger spaces in your home.

Watering: Allow the top 2 to 3 inches of soil to dry between waterings and then water thoroughly. Does best in consistently moist soil and should never be allowed to dry out completely.

Growth Rate: Moderate
Shape:  Upright
Sun or Shade: Bright, indirect sunlight. Direct light may burn leaves.
Difficulty level: Medium
