TRADESCANTIA CONCORD GRAPE

$19.99

Latin Name: Tradescantia 'Concord Grape'

Description: Commonly called 'Spider Lilies', this excellent, clump-forming perennial forms a lovely mound of very narrow, lance-shaped, grey-blue-green leaves, which are smooth, and produce minute, three-petaled, bright purple flowers decorated by central, wispy golden stamens which appear at the leaf axils, and at the terminal ends in clusters. The small blossoms appear in the early summertime, and bloom for approximately 8 weeks. The plants are self cleaning, so there is no need for deadheading.

Cut back as the heat of the summer sets in to maintain a neat and tidy habit. Divide clumps when they become overcrowded.
