Latin Name: Delphinium 'Purple Passion'

Description: This tall, herbaceous perennial produces densely packed, sturdy spikes of frilly, deep purple flowers adorned with central purple and white striped bees. They bloom for weeks during the midsummer to early fall, adding a touch of elegance to gardens and attracting gazes from far distances. The blooms rise from a mound of divided, palmate, dark-green foliage. Removing spent flower spikes will result in a secondary round of blooms in the late summer and fall.
