CACTUS GRAFTED

$12.99

Latin Name: Gymnocalycium mihanovichii

Description: Grafted cacti are formed when two different species of cacti are 'fused' together, creating one single cactus plant. The top part of the cactus is called the 'scion', whereas the bottom green fraction is referred to as the 'rootstalk'. The scion plant on top actually uses the energy and nutrients from the below plant, allowing it to grow faster and more vigorously than it would on its own, as many coloured varieties cannot photosynthesize by themselves. These cacti can come in a range of different colours, often bred from mutated species, making each one unique!

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out entirely between waterings.

Growth Rate: Slowly
Shape: Upright
Sun or Shade: Bright, indirect light
Difficulty level: Easy
