DRACAENA RAY OF SUNSHINE

$119.99

Latin Name: Dracaena marginata 'Ray of Sunshine'

Description: These very attractive indoor specimens are often referred to as 'Dragon Trees' due to the name Dracaena which means "female dragon". They feature long, thin, stiff leaves that emerge from a strong stem often clad in bark. The leaves feature a thick central strip of golden yellow, surrounded by dark green stripes on either side and bordered with maroon margins. They are incredibly drought tolerant plants, as they store water in their trunk for future use. This plant is listed by NASA as being an excellent plant for filtering harmful chemicals from the air.

Fertilize once a month with tropical plant fertilizer during the active growing season.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out almost entirely before watering again. If you are unsure if it is time to water, er4r on the side of caution and wait a few days before reassessing.

Growth Rate: Slow
Shape: Upright
Sun or Shade: Bright, indirect sunlight
Difficulty level: Easy
