Description: Commonly called Pristine Blue Beardtongue, this vigorously growing perennial requires little maintenance, producing showy blue flowers in the late summertime, continuing into the fall. The deep blue, trumpet-like flowers with little 'beards' appear densely packed on upright spires above a showy bed of long, narrow blue/green foliage. Attractive to pollinators. Perfect for containers with adequate drainage, rock gardens, mass plantings, or border edging applications.
