Description: Commonly known as Solomon's Seal, this graceful shade perennial spreads by underground rhizomes and provides sturdy, slightly arching branches showcasing small, dangling clusters of downward-facing tubular, creamy ivory bell-shaped blossoms that appear along the stems in early spring. They hang gracefully from the leaf axils, eventually giving way to blue-black, smooth, rounded berries in the fall. Even when the flowers are not present, the foliage is stunning and has high ornamental value. The thick, long, oval to spear-shaped, medium-green leaves grace the stems from top to bottom, turning a rich golden yellow in the autumn. Virtually pest, disease, and maintenance free.
