ROSE OF SHARON PURPLE PILLAR
Latin Name: Hibiscus syriacus 'Purple Pillar'
Description: This narrow, columnar Rose of Sharon variety flaunts bubblegum pink, cone shaped, slightly ruffled, semi-double blooms with deep red splotches at the base of each petal. A central style extends from the middle of each bloom, filled with fluffy ivory stamens and topped with a white stigma. The blossoms rise over a bushy mound of diamond shaped, deep green leaves that are toothed at the tips.
