Latin Name: Schizachyrium Scoparium 'Standing Ovation'
Description: Commonly called Bluestem, Standing Ovation is a unique grass which puts on a show for every season. From Spring to early Summer, grass is a deep green colour with red highlights throughout. By August, this Bluestem takes on a silvery-blue shade with more red, and by the fall, the grass becomes a wonder of bright orange and red, with seedheads. Drought tolerant, heat tolerant and low maintenance.
